Lisbeth Parisius
In Lisbeth’s approach to art, she uses abstraction, playfulness, and experiments with materials. She perceives hidden beauty and intriguing stories—sometimes familiar because the material or object comes from her own collection, family, or friends, but sometimes found on the street or at a construction site. She explores the possibilities and unique characteristics of the material. By isolating carefully chosen materials and studying them over time, a deep appreciation for their beauty emerges, and that is what she strives to reveal through her art.
Over the past year, she has repeatedly returned to the cylinder, cirkel or oval shapes. In this phase of her life, they hold a particular attraction for her. She deliberately chooses not to analyze this but allows the material and form to exist on their own, without assigning them a specific meaning or content. This reflects an intuitive and experimental approach to art-making, where the focus is on form and material.
